Written by In my mind, carnival day means a gathering party which so many young people go to the street to hold a lively party showing their youth and passions, drink, eat, make food, talk and so on.
But after I saw a foreign film named Soccer Baby, I really know the meanings about the carnivals. I forgot which country, may be in the USA, a girl likes playing football so much and her characteristic seems so boyish, and do whatever will not pay attention to her behavior or the way of talkings, her mother always feel worried, and do want her daughter to be an elegant lady.
One day, when the girl came home after school, her mother closed her eyes and let her to guess what she bought for her, her daughter said:? please, mom, I don?t know?? Then her mother open her eyes and told her excitedly: ?oh, see the beautiful gown for you, my litter girl will be a young lady!!! You have to attend the carnival, your adult party wearing the gown, my girl!
The girl felt so boring and she said: oh, my god, ok, I will go but I have to play football now, bye mom!
On that day, the girl wore the dress to attend the party, and I learned the carnival is not only for gathering to be crazy but also hold the adult party for the girls and boys which become adults, the girls are all wearing nice gowns holding handbags, as well we wear earrings and necklaces and other embellishments, and also to my surprise, there is a kiss booth for girls and boys which be adults already, that sounds so fresh and exciting. It is the first time for me to learn the thing from foreign countries.
